As the Plant Maintenance Manager at Weitron you will have full autonomy to drive equipment productivity and improve equipment uptime at the company’s core production facility. This position will work directly with the senior management of the company to implement strategies and lead a dedicated maintenance team in this fast-paced environment. You will be directly responsible for the functionality, uptime, and productivity of all elements of the plant’s production and building systems including autonomous robotics, precision gas filling equipment, and bulk chemical tank farms. You will have direct management of the plant’s maintenance team, plan work schedules, and evaluate performance of team members.  You will be challenged to continuously improve your problem solving, diagnostic skills, technical acumen, and communication skills. An ideal candidate should be comfortable with solving complex problems in ever-changing situations.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for uptime of all plantwide functions and critical production machinery and building systems including:
• Autonomous robotics material handling and conveying systems
• PLC integrated precision aerosol filling lines
• Specialized gas house packaging systems
• PLC based bulk chemical pumping and transfer stations including tank storage and rail tank cars
• Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical custom machinery failures and direct workflow to maintenance team. Identify and implement corrective action in consequence to downtime or quality non-conformance.
• Supervise the plant’s maintenance team including planning work schedule for team members, hiring/interviewing, and performance evaluation of completion and quality of team member work.
• Create and maintain maintenance plans integrating suggested equipment preventative and routine maintenance intervals with Weitron’s standard operating procedures.
• Maintain and modify Weitron’s database of maintenance standard operating procedures.
• Create and maintain a parts catalog and inventory of essential parts. Order from approved vendors to ensure parts on hand do not fall below minimums.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience with maintenance, programing, and commissioning autonomous robotics and material handling equipment
• Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and fluid dynamics systems
• Ability to create and maintain inventory and parts databases electronically
• Attention to detail in workspace with a focus on organization/cataloging of space parts and tools
• Demonstrated team leadership
