The Category Administrator will play a key role in Strategic Sourcing activities across one or more spending categories, focusing on driving significant cost reductions, ensuring a reliable supply, and enhancing product quality and supplier service levels. This position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders from various departments, business units, and corporate functions to develop and implement effective cost reduction strategies. The Administrator will actively contribute to shaping and executing plans that support the organization’s financial and operational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience in sourcing, with a successful track record in similar roles.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of handling multiple complex analyses simultaneously.
• Strong project management, negotiation, and communication abilities, with a deep passion for driving cost reduction.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration and influencing teams.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.

Key Responsabilities:

• Track cost savings and ensure sourcing strategies meet or exceed targets.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and manage supplier performance.
• Develop and implement performance metrics for supplier effectiveness and compliance.
• Resolve operational issues with suppliers and execute improvement plans.
• Ensure spend is managed under formal contracts and ensure contract compliance.
• Promote best sourcing practices, drive annual productivity improvements, and monitor internal satisfaction metrics.
