The Role
An individual with expertise in supply chain analytics, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver BI solutions that optimize supply chain performance, enhance decision-making, and drive operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced BI dashboards and reporting solutions to support end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, production, inventory management, and logistics.
- Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and IT teams to gather and translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
- Design, build, and optimize ETL processes to ensure seamless integration of data from multiple systems, including ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
- Lead data governance initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all BI platforms.
- Mentor junior BI engineers and contribute to the development of best practices for data visualization and analytics.
- Stay updated on emerging BI technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance supply chain analytics capabilities.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in BI engineering, with a focus on supply chain analytics in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, & SQL.
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL tools
- Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes and KPIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and commute to our Chicago office as required.
