THE ROLE

As a Founding Machine Learning Platform Engineer, you’ll design and build infrastructure to accelerate the ML lifecycle, enabling scalable, reliable systems that support critical features for millions of users. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of the ML Platform and drive significant impact.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform Innovation & Reliability

• Build and optimize cutting-edge systems for training, feature management, and model inference.
• Strengthen system reliability to support high-stakes applications serving millions of users.

Collaboration & Empowerment

• Work closely with ML Engineers and Data Scientists to understand platform requirements and deliver versatile, impactful solutions.
• Develop tools and frameworks that empower teams to work efficiently and independently.

Technical Strategy & Execution

• Design and implement advanced systems to accelerate model development and deployment.
• Innovate platform capabilities while ensuring performance, scalability, and dependability.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Must-Have:

• Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing robust, dependable systems for high-stakes applications.
• Advanced expertise in Python and substantial experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Practical knowledge of tools and technologies like Kafka, Docker, gRPC, DynamoDB, Redis, Temporal, Snowflake, Airflow, and SQL.
• Solid familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, and Jupyter.
• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field.
