  • Provides technical support in the manufacture of new or existing products
  • Working closely with personnel at all levels to become a subject matter expert in departmental products and processes
  • Create and modify work instructions as necessary to document the process critical to quality
  • Installing and maintaining system build of materials (BOMs) & Routers for all products
  • Supporting projects, as assigned, to help develop new products and/or processes
  • Participation in the APQP process, approving new products and processes
  • Supporting the modification of processes and products
  • Work together with all your peers and customers
  • Generating and executing continuous improvement projects targeted to reduce waste, improve product quality, and reduce manufacturing cycle time
  • Provides shop floor support to manufacturing operations and personnel
  • Maintenance of documented standards systems for the department
  • Ensure tooling is producing quality parts and processes are standardized
  • Train associates on the latest technology
  • Perform other duties as specified by the Manufacturing Engineering Lead



Work Experience

  • Experience in fixture/small tool design
  • Graduated from technical school Tool & Die is a plus
  • Exhibits a high level of visibility in the manufacturing areas and a hands-on approach
  • Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
  • Experience with Drawings, BOMs, Routings, Manufacturing Procedures, and product specifications.
  • Requires the ideal candidate to be at the customer site.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize workload, and teamwork.
  • Ability to work in a shop floor and office environment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
