Job: Business Systems Analyst/Security Master

Pay Rate: $60-70/hr

Contract: 6 month to hire

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid 2-3 Days a week)

Day to Day:

A multinational financial services company is seeking a Sr Business Analyst with a focus in security master expertise to join their team. The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for business analysis activities on medium to large size projects. The role demonstrates advanced knowledge and ability and can apply the competency in new or complex situations and guides other professionals. The role is responsible for execution of all aspects of requirements delivery- planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation, management, and support - for changes to Business Areas and Technology. US Wealth Management is undertaking an initiative to improve the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of USWM fixed income/bond reference data to reduce market data expense, reduce regulatory risk and to establish cornerstone technology needed to support USWM future business and regulatory needs. Achieving this vision requires orchestrated efforts to achieve tactical business benefits while building long-term toward an integrated, cohesive platform for management of securities data.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of Experience working as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects
• Process and data focus with security master expertise.
• Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative and/or Agile
• Experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation

• Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA)
• Masters Certificate in Business Analysis
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (IIBA-CBAP or CCBA)
• Agile Certification (CSM, CPO)

• Ability to turn conceptual ideas into business requirements
• Ability to ask relevant, probing questions of SME’s, regardless of authority level

Responsibilities:

• Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements responsibilities
• Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates
• Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties
• Define the business analysis approach including tasks and deliverables based on the project and delivery methodology
• Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to drive out business priorities
• Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
• Apply advanced elicitation techniques to work with different types of stakeholder groups
• Analyze and document scope of the business solution using enterprise-standard requirements methodology
• Review, analyze and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support business strategies.
• Create system specifications that drive system development and implementation.
• Mining data from primary and secondary sources, analyzing and reorganizing data in a format that can be easily read.
