Job Title: Broadband Grant Project Manager

Location: Southern OK, mostly remote/regional
Salary Range: $55-$75/hr (W2)
Position Overview:
Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled Broadband Grant Project Manager for an ongoing contract in Southeastern OK. You will mainly work remote with a monthly trip to the office and occasional trips to the field sites. You will lead the implementation, reporting, and auditing of broadband network projects funded by NTIA, USDA, or similar grant programs. This role combines expertise in grant management, telecommunications project oversight, and network infrastructure to ensure the successful deployment of broadband initiatives. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex projects, maintaining compliance with grant requirements, and delivering innovative broadband solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of broadband-related grants, from application through project closeout.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines for broadband network deployments, including FTTH (Fiber to the Home).
- Monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying and addressing issues.
- Ensure compliance with grant and regulatory requirements, including reporting and documentation standards.
- Audit and prepare comprehensive grant reports to funding agencies and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to execute broadband projects efficiently.
- Design and implement broadband network infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Evaluate and integrate new telecommunications technologies into project planning.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, including network diagrams, grant records, and project schedules.
- Provide technical support, guidance, and leadership to project teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred (e.g., telecommunications, project management, business administration).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant management and telecommunications project management, with a focus on broadband networks.
- Proven expertise in auditing, reporting, and ensuring compliance with NTIA, USDA, or similar grant programs.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, FTTH, SD-WAN, and network security practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and grant management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
