Compensation Analyst Position Summary
-Support and consult with senior level human resource staff members and finance managers on internal and external compensation projects and financial analysis projects.
-Develop, implement, and administer the annual compensation programs for partners, attorneys and staff.
-Conduct analysis on internal and external compensation statistics.
-Configure pay grades and evaluate new employee titles and ongoing reclassification.
-Work with outside compensation advisors, and study salary statistics to develop appropriate compensation structures.
-Develop and prepare responses to compensation surveys.
-Prepare executive briefing summaries for meetings.
-Identify financial trends in connection with the firm’s strategic compensation plans.
-Leverage existing systems to enhance the quality, efficiency and timeliness of compensation reporting.
-Recommend system and process enhancements and changes as necessary to advance efforts to increase and improve content presentation and method of production of compensation data, plans and analysis.
-Identify trends in compensation packages and provide recommendations for improvement.
Compensation Analyst Qualifications
-Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or business related field required.
-Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
-Minimum 5 years compensation experience.
-Hands-on experience with Workday and other HRIS systems strongly preferred.
-Superior analytical skills and strong financial capabilities.
-Mastery of data analysis using advanced Excel analytical functions.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Self-confident, ambitious leader that is comfortable liaising with partners and executive leadership.
-Ability to identify and analyze multi-faceted problems and recommend solutions.
