We are looking for a Production Planner to support LU-VE Plant in Jacksonville, Texas . You will be based in LU-VE US, Inc in Jacksonville, Texas.
Mission of the role
The main role of the Production Planner is to support the production planning and scheduling team in ensuring that manufacturing processes are executed efficiently, on time, and meet customer demands. This role involves coordinating schedules, updating production data, and communicating with various departments to maintain workflow and resolve any scheduling conflicts.
You will be in charge of
- Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, and material availability.
- Monitor daily production activities to ensure adherence to the schedule.
- Input, update, and maintain production data in the system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Generate reports on production status, delays, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate with other departments – manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to address scheduling issues and delays
- Communicate with all departments of any changes to production schedules
- Identify scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks and work with the team to implement solutions.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert teams of shortages that may impact production.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance schedule accuracy and production efficiency.
- Provide feedback to improve systems and workflows.
- Maintain organized records of production plans, changes, and communications.
- Support the scheduling team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience we are looking for
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate Degree or coursework in supply chain, production management or related field is preferred
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or scheduling environment
- Knowledge of production planning and scheduling processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
- Communicate effectively, in written and spoken form, and possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Detail oriented and possess ability to work under pressure.
- Problem Solving abilities with analytical skills to identify trends and inefficiencies
- Team Player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
