About the Role
As the Structural Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and designers in the development of tracked combat vehicle hull structures. From concept design to prototype testing, you’ll ensure that structural integrity, performance, and survivability standards are achieved.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in vehicle chassis or related system design.
- Proficiency in CAD design systems and structural analysis.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tracked combat vehicle structures and survivability.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and analysis of vehicle chassis structures, including ramps, hatches, and access panels.
- Lead structural assessments to meet performance and survivability requirements.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver on design, testing, and manufacturing objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive project success.
- Present project updates to leadership and customers.
