ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Scope & Change Management:

  • Oversee contractual changes and resolve disputes with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors promptly.
  • Manage contract amendments and scope changes, ensuring documentation aligns with overall commitments.
  • Conduct trend meetings with PM & SCM to identify risks and opportunities, supporting the review and update of Estimate-At-Complete (EAC) data.
  • Prepare contractual positions to establish entitlement and quantum.
  • Uphold change management principles.


Contract Management:

  • Handle end-to-end contract administration, including preparing and negotiating nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontract agreements.
  • Review prime contract requirements, special provisions, and terms to develop appropriate prime flow-downs.
  • Prepare contract summaries to highlight key clauses and risks for the project team.
  • Draft responses for variation claims, extension of time claims, notices of changes, and letters of concern.
  • Manage scope modifications and correspondence with subcontractors.
  • Identify, document, and mitigate risks associated with subcontracts, including financial, schedule, and performance risks.
  • Ensure timely submission of contract billings and receipt of payments.
  • Support the review and processing of subcontractor payment applications and ensure lien waivers are provided as per contract terms and company policies.
  • Efficiently manage the contract closeout process, including final deliveries, payments, and resolving outstanding issues.


Contract Compliance and Reporting:

  • Compile and submit regular reports to clients for diversity and certified payroll reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to all contractual requirements, including insurances, bonds, and diversity commitments.
  • Develop sample insurance certificates and bond forms, and obtain approval for submitted certificates and bonds.
  • Ensure subcontractors comply with insurance and bond requirements in their contracts.


SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Technical background (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in progressive technical/commercial/sales roles in the industrial and/or municipal water/wastewater sectors.
  • Familiarity with various project delivery models like DB, EPC, and O&M.
  • Proficiency with project agreements such as EPC Agreements, O&M Agreements, and Subcontracting Agreements.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with customers and local stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with various department heads to advance projects, negotiate through conflicts, and resolve issues promptly.
