Job Title: Safety Supervisor

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 base salary (plus bonus)

Core Function

The Safety Supervisor plays a key role in promoting and ensuring workplace safety by implementing policies, training programs, and practices to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Working closely with foremen, supervisors, and employees, this role ensures that safety protocols are integrated into daily operations and that all personnel are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to work safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and review safe work policies, practices, and procedures to meet regulatory compliance.
• Train employees on safety practices and ensure new employees receive orientation in applicable safety subjects.
• Investigate workplace incidents to identify root causes and develop preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate safety-related documentation and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage compliance requirements for respirator use, confined spaces, and hot work, including documentation and permits.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or a related field (preferred).
• General working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in industrial settings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels.
