This role offers direct assistance to students with academic and behavioral needs, working closely with teachers and other support staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping students succeed by providing personalized support in classroom settings.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Must have some knowledge of American Sign Language
• Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting preferred but not required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering instructional activities under the guidance of the Special Education teacher.
• Provide support during small group and one-on-one instruction, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Modify and adapt classroom materials to ensure accessibility and engagement for students with varying abilities.
• Support students in completing assignments and activities, providing encouragement and assistance as needed.
