Position Summary
The Analyst, People Operations is part of our clients 'People team' reporting to the Head of People. The Analyst, People Operations supports all HR organizational design and strategy functions, talent acquisition, resource planning, talent and performance management process design, and employee engagement. This role will heavily interface with all team leaders and the People team at all levels as a true advisor and business partner in the implementation of HR initiatives. The Analyst, People Operations is an extremely motivated individual who challenges the HR status quo looking at continuous improvement in all HR practices and is a highly collaborative individual who is data savvy and skilled in relevant office applications, most notably Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. A thought partner with all business units providing HR recommendations and solutions, the ideal candidate is comfortable working autonomously, works well under tight timelines, and is confident in managing priorities and relationships as well as balancing the needs of the organization. Essential Responsibilities
- Participates in HR brainstorming, process mapping, and requirements gathering sessions with all teams within organization.
- Leads HR initiatives and ensures key milestones are identified and communicated to key stakeholders.
- Clearly and concisely communicates key HR data to leadership team and other stakeholders, as necessary.
- Researches, analyzes, and compiles data and records and prepares reports, presentations, recommendations, and other documentation pertaining to HR initiatives.
- Designs and develops interactive dashboards to present key HR metrics, including recruitment, employee engagement, turnover, training, and performance management.
- Tracks and monitors task progress and escalates business risks where appropriate.
- Delivers effective communication (written and verbal) to all levels including leadership.
- Supports new hire onboarding and provides pre- and post-employment day-to-day HR support.
- Sets clear priorities for stakeholders while effectively communicating deliverables, ensuring team alignment, and balancing priorities.
- Partners with the People team to stay relevant with all People processes that impact the business.
- Supports recruitment activities, including peak planning, participates in outreach events, and builds and maintains effective relationships with schools and community-based organizations.
- Flexibility in this role is key and you may be asked to flex time into HR functions and administration from time to time.
- Other complex projects and duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
- One (1) year of HR experience.
- Knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.
- Experience in report generation and data analytics.
- Self-discipline to present to senior levels of the organization.
- Ability to rapidly resolve issues and recognize when escalation is necessary.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, and resolution skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and structured critical thinking skills.
- Flexibility, agility, and change management skills.
- Ability to tailor communication style to different audiences and to exercise good judgment in frequency and nature of communications to different parties (senior management, stakeholders, team members, etc.).
- Available for overnight travel (10%).
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Three (3) years of HR experience.
- Two (2) years of experience managing various HR projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification by Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and managerial skills, including the ability to motivate others.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels and in diverse environments.
- Ability to manage risk.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
