LHH is seeking a talented and dynamic Communications Specialist with expertise in web and graphic design to join our client's team in Rockville, Maryland. This role will play a key part in maintaining company website while creating compelling visual and written content to support our marketing and communication efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the launch and ongoing upkeep of our new website, ensuring it is up-to-date and optimized for user experience.
- Design and develop marketing materials, including slicks, brochures, and promotional assets.
- Manage and maintain a consistent and engaging social media presence across platforms.
- Create visually appealing graphics for PowerPoint presentations, reports, and other internal and external materials.
- Collaborate with various departments to align communications and branding strategies.
- Assist with writing and editing content for digital and print materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in communications or a similar role
- Proven experience in website maintenance and graphic design
- Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Drupal, Convio, Kintera, or similar platforms).
- Proficiency in content creation and editing tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
Pay Details: $25.00 - 30.00 per hour
The role is contract to hire and onsite in Rockville, Maryland.
