KCMR is a non-commercial Christian Radio station with Easy-listening, Inspirational music broadcast in stereo 24/7, including hourly news and weather reports. KCMR is streamed for our worldwide listeners.

KCMR is the only listener-supported, locally owned and operated radio station in Mason City, Iowa. The Development Director supplements financial support by securing underwriters for music, programs, and News/weather reports.

Qualifications

-Securing new underwriting and sponsorships for Inspiration 97.9 KCMR FM radio

-Servicing and renewing existing business underwriting and business sponsorship accounts

-Keeping accurate records of all accounts

-Writing and producing business underwriting and business sponsorship spots

-Coordinating production with station personnel

-Making sure all underwriting/sponsorships run as directed

-Following Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules and station guidelines for underwriting and sponsorships

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Strategic thinking and planning skills

-Knowledge of the non-profit sector and fundraising best practices

-Other responsibilities needed or assigned by the General Manager
