Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years in investment banking at a prominent firm and 3-5 years of private equity experience, with a demonstrated track record in deal execution and portfolio management.

Spun out of a family office as an independent continuity vehicle, the firm operates with a hybrid structure that combines the stability and support of its family office partnership with the flexibility to independently source and execute deals with outside capital providers. This role provides the opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial team at a pivotal phase of growth. The Investment Professional will have a direct impact on shaping the firm’s investment platform and strategy while playing an integral role in executing transactions and driving value creation for portfolio companies. The position offers significant exposure to deal-making, close collaboration with senior leadership, and early leadership responsibilities. Details of the Role:

This position will play a critical role in the firm's investment activities, encompassing the following key responsibilities:

Deal Origination and Sourcing: Identify and cultivate investment opportunities by leveraging industry networks, market research, and maintaining relationships with intermediaries and potential targets.

Investment Evaluation and Execution: Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment. Structure and negotiate deal terms in collaboration with legal and financial advisors.

Portfolio Management: Engage directly with the leadership teams of portfolio companies to implement strategic initiatives, monitor performance, and drive operational improvements to enhance value.

Market and Sector Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to develop investment theses within the firm's target sectors, staying informed of industry trends and competitive dynamics.

Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor future junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. Investor Relations and Fundraising Support: Assist in managing relationships with existing and prospective investors, contributing to fundraising efforts and communication strategies.

Qualifications:

Professional Experience:

A minimum of 2 years in investment banking at a prominent firm and 3-5 years of private equity experience, with a demonstrated track record in deal execution and portfolio management.

Technical and Analytical Skills: xceptional financial modeling skills and advanced math competencies, with experience applying these to complex deal structures, scenario analysis, and investment performance monitoring.

Proficiency in valuation techniques, data analysis, and underwriting complex structured investments.

Meticulous attention to detail in analysis, modeling, and documentation.

Communication and Writing Abilities:

Excellent writing skills, with experience drafting investment memos, CIMs, and other professional documents that convey complex information clearly and effectively.· Strong presentation and verbal communication skills for interaction with senior leadership, portfolio company executives, and external stakeholders.

Relationship Management:

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with management teams, investors, advisors, and industry intermediaries to support deal origination, execution, and portfolio management.

Academic Background:

A strong academic record from a top undergraduate institution, with a focus on finance, economics, business, or a related field.
