Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting
- Month-End & Year-End Closings: Assist with essential processes like COGS accounting and inventory reconciliation, playing a key role in our financial health.
- Cash Flow Management: Collaborate with the CFO to manage our company’s cash flow, ensuring we have the resources to continue our mission.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide insights and analysis that help guide our mission-driven decision-making.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with all departments to ensure financial accuracy, supporting the overall success of Pink Stork.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, safeguarding the trust of our team and our customers.
- Process Improvement: Engage in initiatives that enhance our financial processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations
- Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Vendor Management: Ensure that vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time, maintaining strong relationships that reflect our commitment to excellence.
- Timely Payments: Guarantee that all vendor invoices are paid promptly, upholding our reputation for reliability.
- Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies, ensuring smooth financial operations.
- Organized Records: Keep A/P files and records meticulously organized, supporting our commitment to transparency and accuracy.
- Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Revenue Recognition: Accurately record eCommerce revenue transactions, reflecting the growth of our mission-driven business.
- Wholesale Invoicing: Assist in invoicing wholesale customers and recording payments, contributing to our financial stability.
- Dispute Resolution: Work closely with customers to resolve billing issues, ensuring their experience with Pink Stork is always positive.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google software suite and Excel. Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software preferred.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for working within our collaborative team.
