Job Description

Summary

This role is responsible for conducting independent analyses of commercial real estate, commercial loans, residential loans, and consumer loans, ensuring adherence to established credit and loan policies. Duties include performing annual and appraisal reviews, as well as periodic loan grade assessments, while administering the Credit and Loan policies.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, or an MBA in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of experience managing a Credit Analysis Department.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in evaluating commercial real estate loans (including owner-occupied, income-producing, and special-purpose properties), commercial loans, and consumer loans. Knowledge of loan collateralization and security arrangements.
  • Proficiency in analyzing corporate and personal financial statements and drafting credit write-ups using standardized credit analysis templates.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in spreading corporate and personal financial statements and tax returns in both U.S. dollars and local currencies, as applicable.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret appraisals.
  • Ability to understand and interpret credit reports.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in developing templates to improve turnaround times.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services and regulatory compliance, including Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Identification Program (CIP), BSA/Anti-money Laundering (AML), and OFAC regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent client service and collaborate with team members to support organizational goals.
  • Excellent follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in using the Internet and Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Proficient in banking software such as BancPac, Vision, iDoc, and iCheck.
  • Skilled in using analysis software for financial statement spreading, tax returns, and other relevant documents.
  • Contributes positively to team spirit and supports the success of others.
