Job Summary:

This position involves performing a variety of transactions typically associated with both the Teller Line and Platform, with a strong focus on ensuring 100% client satisfaction. The role also emphasizes maintaining operational integrity while achieving personal, branch, and market objectives.

Requirements:

• Must be fully bilingual (English/ Spanish)
• Previous banking experience, at least 2 years
• Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma
• Ability to work full-time and on-site

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and examine checks for proper endorsements.
• Cash checks and process payments after verifying signatures and customer balances.
• Record customer transactions in the system and issue computer-generated receipts.
• Place holds on accounts when necessary.
• Balance currency, coins, and checks in the cash drawer at the end of each shift, ensuring the totals match the data displayed on the computer screen.
• Promote, explain, refer, and sell bank products and services such as accounts, loans, and cashier’s checks in-branch or via telemarketing, meeting or exceeding assigned goals.
• Conduct outbound calls and schedule appointments for the Market Leader and/or Sales & Service Officer (Banking Center Manager or Assistant Manager in NY only), aligning with market initiatives and branch objectives.
• Contribute to the achievement of branch sales goals.
• Cross-train on platform products and operational processes to assist customers with related activities.
• Open and process all types of accounts, products, and services, addressing customers' specific needs. Refer clients to the appropriate business lines as necessary to meet their needs.
• Achieve individual referral targets for cross-selling credit, non-credit, and fee-based products and services.
• Process transactions from automated teller machines (ATMs) and night depositories.
• Under dual control, balance cash in automated teller machines and night depositories.
