Senior Financial Systems Analyst (Oracle EPM/ERP)

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 (base)

Overview:

Global life insurance leader is hiring a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to enhance and maintain their financial systems infrastructure. This will encompass, but is not limited to, Oracle EPM and ERP applications.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a deep understanding of the financial services industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

You do NOT need experience with BOTH EPM & ERP. Just one is fine – and a desire to learn and develop in the other!!

Job Responsibilities:

• Support ongoing enhancements, projects, and requests for financial systems, including Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub, Oracle Cloud EPM, and other tools critical to the company's future reporting needs.
• Design and implement high-quality solutions within financial systems such as Oracle and Workiva.
• Assist in areas like general ledger, fixed assets, cash management, and OTBI reporting within Oracle Cloud ERP as needed.
• Manage the enterprise structure in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, including creating legal entities, updating charts of accounts, and building approval hierarchies based on employee roles and organizational structures.
• Provide pre- and post-production support, including data and configuration validation.
• Resolve user issues by coordinating with external consultants and managing Oracle service requests.
• Monitor scheduled processes and integrations, ensuring data accuracy and working with IT on external system integrations.
• Document decisions, designs, and testing processes related to reporting strategies.
• Develop and deliver training materials for end users, conducting ongoing training sessions as needed.
• Contribute to the implementation of new financial systems and support finance-related projects in alignment with organizational goals.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant finance experience, ideally in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
• Experience with Oracle EPM, Workiva, or treasury management tools is highly desirable.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with a focus on financial modeling and analysis.
• Professional certifications such as MBA, CPA, CFA, or LLM are preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaborative skills.
