Job Title: Estimator – Commercial Construction

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team and contribute to their expanding portfolio of projects.

Position Overview:

The Estimator will play a critical role in preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial projects, including retail and healthcare facilities. This individual will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful bidding and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, scopes of work, and schedules.
• Collaborate with the preconstruction and project management teams to align estimates with project goals.
• Identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
• Maintain and update historical cost databases for accuracy in future bids.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of retail and healthcare construction projects.
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with construction standards, codes, and regulations in Southern California.
