Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Construction Superintendent to join their team. This role will lead on-site construction efforts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership:
  • Oversee all on-site activities for commercial construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and long-term planning with project managers and other stakeholders.
  1. Site Management:
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site staff to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe construction site at all times.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and codes.
  1. Scheduling & Communication:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, updating stakeholders as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field-related questions and issues.
  • Lead on-site meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  1. Safety & Compliance:
  • Enforce safety standards, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies.
  • Conduct safety meetings and inspections to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all safety protocols and incidents.
  1. Problem-Solving:
  • Identify and resolve on-site challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Proactively address potential delays, conflicts, or resource shortages.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure top-quality results.
  • Perform final walkthroughs and punch-list completion for project closeout.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Proven success managing complex projects valued at $5M+.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $110,000 - $130,000 , based on experience.
