Human Resources Generalist

TalentoHC is actively partnered with a growing healthcare technology organization in Miami seeking an HR Generalist.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join our client on a 3-month contract. This role will focus on critical HR projects, including reviewing and updating HR policies, refining the employee handbook, preparing for compensation analysis, and creating job descriptions. You will also contribute to other general HR responsibilities that support our organization’s mission and compliance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy Review and Updates: Conduct comprehensive reviews of current HR policies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.
• Draft updates or new policies as needed and communicate changes effectively.
• Employee Handbook Management: Revise and update the employee handbook to reflect current policies and best practices.
• Incorporate feedback from leadership and legal teams as needed.
• Compensation Analysis Preparation: Gather and organize data for compensation benchmarking and analysis.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to prepare reports and insights.
• Job Description Development: Write and update job descriptions for various roles across the organization.
• Ensure job descriptions align with organizational structure, competencies, and salary bands.
• General HR Responsibilities: Assist in day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations and compliance tasks.
• Support recruitment efforts, onboarding, or training initiatives as needed.
• Contribute to process improvement projects within the HR department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of HR experience, with a strong understanding of HR policies, compensation, and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
