Senior Project Manager
Position Summary :
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of IT projects from initiation through completion. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, client-facing skills, and technical knowledge of IT solutions. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while managing risk and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Planning & Execution : Develop detailed project plans, define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Team Leadership : Lead and coordinate project teams consisting of developers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Stakeholder Management : Act as the primary point of contact between clients, senior management, and project teams. Communicate project progress, challenges, and milestones to all relevant stakeholders.
- Risk Management : Identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines, scope, or quality. Develop mitigation plans to reduce project risks.
- Budget Management : Develop project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure that projects are delivered within budget. Report on project financials and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure that all project deliverables meet the agreed-upon quality standards. Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans, timelines, status reports, meeting notes, and change requests. Regularly update stakeholders on project status.
- Continuous Improvement : Evaluate project performance post-delivery and implement best practices to enhance future project efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, Scrum, or Agile certifications are a plus.
- Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering software or IT infrastructure projects.
- Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with IT development life cycles, cloud services, software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and IT service management best practices (ITIL).
