A Day in the Life of the Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager , you’ll lead a team of talented engineers focused on designing and developing innovative flow measurement and sensor products. From concept through production, you’ll oversee project planning, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful product launches that meet strategic business goals. This is your chance to mentor a high-performing team, drive innovation, and help shape the future of environmental and industrial measurement technology.

Responsibilities include:

• Execute product development processes aligned with company strategic goals
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget
• Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement staff development plans
• Oversee project management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
• Provide technical guidance on product design, compliance, and manufacturability
• Report progress and outcomes to executive leadership

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of product development experience
• 3+ years of experience managing an engineering team
• Proven expertise in project management, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
