Job Description: Control Systems Engineer
Location: Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Duration: Initial 12-month contract, with high potential for extension
About the Role:
We are looking for three Control Systems Engineers to expand the team. You will work closely with a growing team of engineers on a range of projects within the oil and gas industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement control system standards across the organization.
- Perform mass modifications to existing systems and ensure compliance with engineering best practices.
- Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs and DeltaV DCS systems for control and automation projects.
- Support the migration to Ignition , including configuration, Vision version 8 , and Perspective.
- Make modifications to HMI screens and configure systems for improved functionality.
- Deliver I&C and automation solutions.
- Provide support for project management tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (8+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and DeltaV DCS
- Experience working with SCADA systems. Preferably with Ignition software, particularly in Vision version 8 and Perspective, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with I&C and automation principles.
- Prior experience in oil and gas
- Project management experience is a bonus.
