We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cloud Engineer III . This role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems while ensuring they are dynamically scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective. The Cloud Engineer III will lead significant technical initiatives, manage Citrix infrastructure, and support Azure-based solutions, including Azure DevOps, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud System Engineering:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, available, and fault-tolerant cloud-based systems using Azure PAAS and IAAS services.
- Implement cost-control strategies to optimize cloud resource usage.
Citrix Infrastructure Management:
- Maintain and administer all aspects of the company’s Citrix infrastructure, including XenApp and XenDesktop.
- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and develop long-term strategies for Citrix systems.
Identity and Access Management:
- Implement Azure Identity, SSO (single sign-on), and MFA (multi-factor authentication) capabilities.
- Manage, plan, design, and troubleshoot Azure Active Directory in a hybrid environment.
- Enhance and upgrade Active Directory domains to meet business requirements.
Technical Leadership:
- Lead projects and initiatives, contributing to the technical design and implementation of systems on-premise or in cloud platforms.
- Generate scripts and templates for automated provisioning and debug technical issues in complex stacks.
Azure DevOps Management:
- Build and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD and release workflows.
- Manage Azure DevOps repos, branch policies, and automate infrastructure provisioning.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Document architectural solutions, design specifications, and technical guidance for junior team members.
Project Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT teams to implement cloud solutions aligned with organizational goals and requirements.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or 4 years of relevant experience.
- Master’s Degree is preferred.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in IT, with expertise in cloud systems and infrastructure.
- Extensive experience with Azure, Citrix VDI, XenDesktop, XenServer, VMware, Hyper-V, and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Yaml, Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Windows, and Linux.
- Knowledge of emerging container management platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, AVD, and Citrix Provisioning Services.
- Strong expertise in server architecture, virtualization, LAN/WAN, Firewall, and VPN technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with cloud-native tools like Terraform and knowledge of web services, APIs, and REST.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and database systems (e.g., SQL).
