Description
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to production quality standards. Monitors and audits process, material, and product testing against established standards and conducts a continuous analysis of quality defects and deviations. Optimizes processes to comply with existing and new regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions
  • Assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards and testing materials and products.
  • Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance product quality.
  • Leads and translates strategy deployment goals to Organizational events and KAIZEN team actions.
  • Manages daily continuous improvement activities and ensures consistency in applying lean principles across all functional areas.
  • Ensures compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO).
  • Coordinates quality system audits; internal and external.
  • Reviews, analyzes, resolves, and reports on company quality issues, which include customer complaints, product returns, purchasing discrepancies, late shipments, concession requests and re-work product.
  • Works collaboratively with customers, suppliers, teammates, and support areas, in a team environment. Determine the appropriate tools, methodologies, and timing of improvement activities to achieve business objectives.
  • Submits and manages department within agreed budget, policies, and standards.
  • Represents the company for external and internal events, as requested.
  • Track, record, and maintain quality assurance data.
  • Exhibits mutual trust and respect towards colleagues, peers, and customers.
  • Displays awareness of our collective social responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts, process improvement concepts and methods along with the flexibility and adaptability to accept, support, and deploy new processes in a changing environment.
  • Experience with ISO and QS systems, and their associated audits.
  • Sound administrative, management, communication and people skills.
