The Role:

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Founding Team, you will be instrumental in building and scaling the company’s core platform from the ground up. This role offers a chance to influence the architecture, drive technical innovation, and contribute directly to a transformative health tech solution.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and implement a platform that securely manages and analyzes healthcare data using Python, Go, and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate healthcare-specific requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
• Build and optimize robust data pipelines and integrations for processing large-scale healthcare data.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring compliance with healthcare data security and privacy standards.
• Research and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities, including AI and blockchain-inspired innovations.
• Establish coding standards, development processes, and quality assurance practices for the engineering team.
• Mentor junior engineers and cultivate a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Take ownership of project timelines, ensuring the successful delivery of key milestones and objectives.
• Solve technical challenges and address bottlenecks to maintain a reliable and scalable platform.

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in Python and Go, with demonstrated experience building systems or platforms from scratch.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience designing scalable data pipelines or backend systems.
• Previous experience in startup or fast-paced environments, ideally as a founding engineer or core team member.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and frameworks; experience in health tech or healthcare data management is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Benefits:

This role offers a competitive base salary of $170,000-$190,000, significant equity, and comprehensive benefits including 401k, health, dental, and vision care.
