What You Will Do
Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. (ADTI) is seeking a Product Manager to identify and champion GRD products that drive revenue growth for ADTI. The Product Manager will conduct market research, generate product requirements, and develop marketing strategies for GRD products including software requirements. This role will determine product specifications, production timetables, pricing and time-integrated plans for product introduction. After product launch, the product manager will analyze product performance in the market.
How You Will Do It
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer experience to identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that expand market share, and enhance overall customer satisfaction
- Create buy-in for the product vision across internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies tailored to GRD markets
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and definitions.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
- Drive product launches, coordinating efforts across sales, marketing, application engineering, and programming teams.
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
- Serve as product champion to promote awareness, understanding, and adoption of products.
- Represent ADTI through customer visits to gather feedback on our products and identify areas for innovation and improvement.
What We Look For
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in air distribution or control equipment design or manufacturing (specifically in GRD products).
- Proven success in managing all aspects of a product’s lifecycle.
- Strong skills in developing product and marketing strategies with the ability to communicate and execute effectively.
- Able to develop product and marketing strategies, and effectively communicate recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with market research and data-driven decision-making.
Preferred
- MBA with 2-3 years of product management experience.
- Solid understanding of product cost structure and market-based pricing models
