Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX

Salary: $110-160,000

The Opportunity: We are looking for a Senior Engineer to take the lead in design and construction for a wide range of projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading the design of electrical systems on medium to large-scale complex projects (data centers, industrial, healthcare, laboratories, commercial, higher education, aviation, and rail).
• Mentoring and supervising junior staff, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to maximize experience at the local, regional, and global levels.
• Preparing and reviewing construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Presenting technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Leading projects and working closely with project managers to deliver quality work.
• Connecting solutions and ideas to bigger picture project goals.
• Client-facing interactions with Owners, Architects, and Contractors.
• Participating in Business Development and responding to project opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing electrical systems for buildings or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to lead the electrical discipline as the lead electrical designer for projects with strong organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working.
• Ability to present technical material for review by both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with 3D BIM software – preferably Revit MEP.

Preferred Skills:

• Professional Engineering License in the US, Texas.
• Experience with power system modeling using SKM or similar software.
• Ability to lead projects of varied scales.
