Structural AutoCAD Designer

About the Role

In this hands-on position, you will play a critical role in designing and modeling essential structural components, including equipment foundations, towers, building structures, pipe racks, and platforms. Collaborating with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll contribute to the creation of high-quality designs that meet the needs of heavy industrial and manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

3D Modeling

• Collaborate with structural engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Develop detailed 3D models of structural designs using AutoCAD and Advanced Steel.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure accuracy and completeness of models.

Construction Drawings

• Produce final construction drawings based on engineered and modeled designs.
• Update drawings to reflect comments and revisions from engineers.
• Ensure that all drawings meet quality and project standards.

Additional Support

• Assist with other design-related tasks as assigned to support project success.

Requirements

• 7+ years of industrial design experience with AutoDesk products (AutoCAD and Advanced Steel).
• Expertise in heavy industrial and manufacturing structural design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
