Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - English/Spanish Bilingual

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in mechanical design and analysis, with a strong background in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), SolidWorks, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Candidates with experience in wiring diagrams and hands-on work with mobile equipment or automotive systems are highly encouraged to apply, although these qualifications are not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
• Conduct FMEA to identify potential failure modes, evaluate risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Interpret and apply GD&T principles for accurate and effective designs.
• Create and review technical documentation, including detailed drawings, wiring diagrams (preferred), and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, manufacturing, and quality engineers, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of designs.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as an Engineer
• Must speak fluent English and Spanish
• Proven experience with FMEA, SolidWorks, and GD&T.
• Familiarity with wiring diagrams (preferred but not required).
• Hands-on experience with mobile equipment or automotive systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
