Process & Controls Engineer (Automation Engineer)
1 Year long contract
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the automation systems for packaging and ancillary equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional projects with teams from Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Research.
- Implement system modifications, experiments, and smaller-scale capital projects.
- Ensure adherence to GMP and industry standards during equipment upgrades and system modifications.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of automation systems, including installation, validation, and performance tracking.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Chemical) with 3+ years of automation experience in pharmaceutical, medical devices, or biotech.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming (Rockwell, Allen Bradley, Siemens preferred).
- Experience with Machine Vision, Robotics, GMP practices, and validation protocols.
- Strong project management and technical writing skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Transformation and Operational Excellence principles.
