Job Description

Responsibilities and duties :


  • Develop and grow the Midwestern Sales territory
  • Mastery of EXOR product families and IIOT solutions
  • Market research in own territory
  • Build and develop strong business relationships
  • Identify leads and opportunities
  • Maintain internal data management systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
  • Identify solutions and technical/commercial proposals supported by US HQ Team
  • Negotiate and close commercial contracts
  • Account management and customer relationship management
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and information management towards HQ
  • After sales service and account farming
  • Develop and manage a high-performance distribution network in the Midwestern territory
  • Regular interaction and reporting to HQ about territory development
  • Regular informal and formal reporting
  • Continuous learning willingness about industry trends and EXOR´s products and services
  • Ability to occasionally communicate with Italian HQ (in English / inter-cultural sensitivity is a plus)
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and high autonomy
  • Organization and time management
  • All other tasks as necessary



Qualification and skills :


  • Mechanical or electrical engineering degree (bachelor)
  • Ideally some strong commercial and financial knowledge (MBA is a plus)
  • 5 years of initial work experience in a technical sales role or application engineering
  • Experience with automated systems and robotics (PLC, HMI, systems engineering, …)
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Strong communication skills, good listener, good communicator
  • Ability to work under stress and in a high-performance environment
  • Public speaking ease and good presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel (60%) of the time thereof domestic (95%) and international mobility (5%). 2 office days and 3 travel days.
  • Mastery of software and IT skills
  • Ability to work in the United States (work authorization)
  • Valid driver´s license is mandatory
  • Italian is a plus (but not a requirement)
