About the Role
Our fast-growing sales team is looking for driven, self-motivated professionals with exceptional communication skills and a knack for connecting with others to help scale Open’s impact! If you're eager to learn, excited about working with restaurants, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you'll excel in this role.
Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) at Open serve as the first point of contact for restaurants, responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads to create meaningful sales opportunities. Your work will play a crucial role in expanding Open’s customer base and helping restaurant operators take their business to the next level.
At Open, you’ll be part of a supportive team that’s passionate about redefining restaurant success—and having fun while doing it!
What You’ll Do:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound outreach.
- Qualify prospects through consultative selling while leveraging BANT criteria.
- Grow the top of the sales funnel through warm and cold outbound campaigns.
- Research companies and add qualified prospects to our outbound list.
- Maintain accurate client relationship data within CRM.
What You'll Need:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent listening skills and an energetic phone presence.
- High level of comfort with sales, prospecting, and marketing tools and processes.
- Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency daily.
- Deep interest in understanding business challenges.
- A sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a high sense of urgency and the ability to work within undefined processes.
Nice to Haves:
- Prior experience in customer-facing and/or sales roles.
- Prior CRM experience.
- Experience at a high-growth startup.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university.
