Job Description

Our client, a mass market beauty brand, is hiring a Sales Account Manager to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule. This is a temporary position that will start immediately and continue to June 2025 with the possibility to extend based on performance and the needs of the business.


Job Duties Include:

  • Manage and pick up retail inventory planning quickly and run with it
  • Manage account P&L to drive sales and maximize profit
  • Drive productivity to be the market leader and exceed retailer sales
  • Develop relationships with retailers including getting to know the supply, marketing, PR and digital teams
  • Partner with teams on promotional activity to develop and execute promotional ideas
  • Leverage retailer vehicles and channels to integrate a 360-degree approach to maximize sales and ROI
  • Evaluate promotional activity to inform future activities
  • Partner with relevant teams to ensure excellent execution for all seasonal updates
  • Assist with customer events including developing and managing events
  • Monitor, analyze, and report customer gross and retail sales data focus to drive business
  • Collaborate with teams to operationalize strategies by customer
  • Contribute to assortment planning to meet financial objectives
  • Assist in preparation of monthly inventory meetings and S&OP meetings


Job Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or related job experience
  • 5+ years of account management experience
  • Advanced Excel skills associated with large volumes of data, data management. and reporting
  • Proficient in computer systems including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other associated scheduling, forecasting software packages
  • Proficient in retail inventory planning
  • Strong data management and analytic skills
  • Ability to travel as required for customer events
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills


Salary: $45/hr
