A services organization in New Jersey is currently seeking a certified Medical Assistant (MA) for a promising opportunity at one of their sites in Essex County.
About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Onsite 5 days a week
• Hours: 7am to 3:30pm or 7:30am to 4pm

Responsibilities:
The Medical Assistant (MA) will

• Perform physicals and follow up with employees/candidates if needed
• File paperwork
• Perform other job-related duties, as required

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA)
• Experience with Hearing, Vision and PFT testing
• Experience and ability to navigate an Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)

Desired Skills:

• NIOSH Spirometry and CAHOC certification
• Experience performing physical exams
• Experience in an Occupational Health role/setting
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements for medical clearance
• Experience with Phlebotomy and UA/UDS specimen collection
