Certification Details BLS CCC-SLP Job Details A hospital in Idaho is in need of a SLP to work a 13 week travel assignment. Job Requirements Must have CCC-SLP. 1 years experience in acute care. VFSS (video fluoroscopic swallow study) competent. Schedule Information 4 10's- 0730-1800. Travelers have been working Fri-Mon but may change for vacation coverage. Weekend Requirements: Traveler covers the weekends. Holiday Requirements: As needed. Unit Specific Information Department: Speech Therapy Additional Details 37 hour guarantee Unit: Speech Therapy Magic Valley Hospital Flr 2 of patients treated per day: 8 to 10. 3 SLPs on per day. Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Stroke, pneumonia, sepsis, etc. Acute Inpatient and Acute Rehab What areas are they required to cover: ICU, acute tower and rehab unit- will share their time equally between acute inpatient and acute rehab. May float to Jerome Medical Center about 30 min from here. EMR: EPIC Is there a SLP Manager/Supervisor on each shift: Manager Do you staff Rehab Aides: Rehab aides How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Usually 2-3 days in department. Travelers should plan on working M-F 5 8’s to accommodate the onboarding schedule.
