  • A hospital in Idaho is in need of a SLP to work a 13 week travel assignment.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have CCC-SLP.
  • 1+ years experience in acute care.
  • VFSS (video fluoroscopic swallow study) competent.
    Schedule Information
  • 4 10's- 0730-1800.
  • Travelers have been working Fri-Mon but may change for vacation coverage.
  • Weekend Requirements: Traveler covers the weekends.
  • Holiday Requirements: As needed.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Department: Speech Therapy
    Additional Details
  • 37 hour guarantee
  • Unit: Speech Therapy Magic Valley Hospital Flr 2
  • # of patients treated per day: 8 to 10. 3 SLPs on per day.
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Stroke, pneumonia, sepsis, etc.
  • Acute Inpatient and Acute Rehab
  • What areas are they required to cover: ICU, acute tower and rehab unit- will share their time equally between acute inpatient and acute rehab.
  • May float to Jerome Medical Center about 30 min from here.
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Is there a SLP Manager/Supervisor on each shift: Manager
  • Do you staff Rehab Aides: Rehab aides
  • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Usually 2-3 days in department. Travelers should plan on working M-F 5 8’s to accommodate the onboarding schedule.
