Position Title - Sr. Network Engineer (with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure- ACI Exp)

Locations - Baltimore, MD, 21202

Duration - 12+ months of Contract with more extension

Mode of interview- Telephonic/Skype

Onsite Job- Need 5 Days onsite

Need local to Baltimore, MD

The Network Engineer ensures that the network performance meets user needs and expectations. The Network Engineer performs a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation, and training responsibilities to ensure sound infrastructure and application components.

Network Engineer responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Network and Cybersecurity engineering, design and implementation

Cisco IOS - Routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, PfR, VPC, etc…)

Load balancing/Malware/Content filtering Management

Cisco Wireless and Wire Environment through 802.1x, and other protocols.

Reviews plans for accuracy, completeness, and content and ensures compliance with security and best practice requirements.

Works with Information Security and Systems teams to ensure complete collaboration and transparency

Determines the solution configuration needed to develop, modify, and implement the network architecture and operations that permit the effective sharing and transmission of information among customers.

Recommends, installs and maintains firewall infrastructure including Palo Alto, Checkpoint and Cisco ASA.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree.

Five years of Network Engineer experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Previous IT experience in government is preferred.

Skills Requirements:

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Experience with Cisco ACI implementation and configuration.
• Experience with implementing Cisco Spine-leaf architecture
• Need candidates with strong data center experience
• Strong Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) experience
• Both Palo Alto Firewall and Cisco Firewall Experience.
• Strong in Network Switching, Routing and Wireless Exp.
• Experience with implementing Cisco Spine-leaf architecture
• Experience with Azure cloud network concepts and design principles
