*Job Summary*
The Sterile Processing Technician plays a crucial role in the healthcare environment by ensuring that all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained. The technician works closely with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to support efficient operations within the facility.

*Duties*
* Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols.
* Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and integrity before sterilization.
* Maintain accurate inventory records of sterile supplies and equipment.
* Operate sterilization equipment, including autoclaves, ensuring proper settings and cycles are followed.
* Adhere to aseptic techniques during handling and processing of instruments.
* Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures.
* Follow all safety guidelines and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.

*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to understand the function of various medical instruments.
* Proficiency in sterile processing techniques and medical terminology relevant to the field.
* Experience in inventory management to track supplies effectively.
* Ability to perform aseptic techniques consistently to prevent contamination.
* Attention to detail for thorough inspection of instruments prior to sterilization.
* Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,525.00 per week
