Job Description

We are seeking a Coupa Subject Matter Expert to lead and drive system optimization initiatives. This role involves gathering requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless integration of Coupa within organizational processes.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary point of expertise for Coupa.
  • Facilitating effective meetings to gather requirements and align with stakeholders.
  • Identifying project dependencies and coordinating with cross-functional teams, including senior leaders.
  • Conducting independent research, owning deliverables , and establishing team standards.
  • Prioritizing tasks, mentoring junior team members, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Translating business requirements into functional designs, collaborating with developers, and managing system configurations and implementations.
  • Partnering with business units to drive system development, enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Managing large datasets, generating insightful reports, and creating user-friendly dashboards.
  • Conducting comprehensive system testing and ensuring smooth transitions to production environments.
  • Providing clear user communication and delivering effective training sessions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Coupa Certification (preferred).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Coupa, including:
  • System configuration and monitoring.
  • Report creation and advanced data management.
  • User administration and workflow setup.
  • Release management, troubleshooting, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Expertise in configuring workflows for requisitions, purchase orders (POs), and invoices.
  • Strong understanding of requirements related to procurement and invoice processes, with the ability to tailor systems accordingly.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, and process integration .
  • Exceptional time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams and interact with senior leaders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and commitment to customer service excellence.
