Role Title: Workday HR Security

Duration: 6 month SOW to start
Preferred Location: remote, EST/ CST working hours
Role Description:
- Client is going live in early 2025 with Workday. Implementing time-tracking/ absence management, compensation, payroll, benefits, performance management, learning, and recruiting modules.
- Consultant needed to configure and maintain Workday security roles, domains, and business processes in alignment with organizational policies and user requirements.
- Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies, data privacy regulations, and Workday best practices.
- Design and implement security frameworks, including role-based access controls and user permissions, to safeguard sensitive data.
- Collaborate with functional teams to define security requirements and resolve access or role assignment issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday security issues, including user access concerns and security configuration discrepancies.
- Provide guidance and training to end users on security best practices and system navigation.
- Stay up to date with Workday updates and security enhancements, ensuring timely implementation of new features.
- Participate in system testing and validation to ensure security settings meet business requirements during Workday implementations or updates.
- Work with audit teams to support security reviews and provide detailed documentation of security configurations.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of Workday Security experience
- Implementation experience (2+ client implementations)
- Strong understanding of user profiles, roles, permissions, and security configurations
