Position Title: Director of Philanthropic Real Estate

Location: Office-based in Bentonville, AR with some travel required

Position Overview:

A private, family-led organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to lead and manage its philanthropic real estate initiatives. This role primarily focuses on supporting public charter school facilities and workforce housing projects. The individual will oversee a diverse real estate portfolio, implement innovative financing solutions, and engage with high-level stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for philanthropic real estate investments, aligning with organizational objectives and community impact goals.
• Real Estate Transactions: Lead complex transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, and development agreements. Manage due diligence and risk assessments.
• Financing Solutions: Create and apply innovative funding strategies using public-private partnerships, tax credits, and philanthropic resources.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse property portfolio, ensuring operational efficiency and sustainability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders, developers, and community stakeholders to support project success.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in real estate, with expertise in public charter school facilities strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of real estate transactions, construction management, and financing.
• Proven ability to manage teams, consultants, and complex initiatives.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degrees are highly desirable.
