Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Platform Engineer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Data Science platform team, managing AWS-based infrastructure and supporting cutting-edge AI/ML initiatives. The position offers a hybrid work environment in Columbus, Ohio, with potential for a contract-to-hire conversion.

Responsibilities:

• Support ongoing operations for Data Science Infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance.
• Develop and deploy AWS environments using CI/CD processes like Azure DevOps.
• Manage and support large-scale environments for Data Science teams, including image lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on infrastructure strategies and resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science Infrastructure, with expertise in AWS services (e.g., SageMaker, Glue, Lambda, Athena).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and IaC tools like Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies (e.g., Athena, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres) and programming languages (Python, shell scripting).
• Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., AQUA, Kenna) and containerization (Docker, ECR).
• AWS and Terraform certifications preferred.
