Job Description

We have an opportunity for motivated and intelligent Coordinator to support the Finance & Accounting team of an established asset management firm. The Finance & Accounting Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and coordinating internal communication within the team.


Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of experience supporting a team and should be coming directly from an asset management firm. Only qualified candidates will be contacted.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Processing: Assist with the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions.
  • Reconciliation: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation processes, including bank reconciliations, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts.
  • Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring timely payments, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate vendor records.
  • Corporate Credit Card Management: Oversee the tracking and reconciliation of corporate credit card expenses. Ensure compliance with company policies, review cardholder transactions, and assist in the submission of expense reports.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role within finance, accounting, or similar
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, positive attitude
