Automotive Service Manager
McCurley Dealerships is looking for an experienced Service Manager to join a fast-paced service department. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of service management experience and is ready to lead and manager an experienced team of Service Advisors and Technicians.
Duties and Essential Job Tasks:
- Coordinate activities of workers in one or more service departments of automobile and accessories sales/service establishment.
- Assist sales personnel in addressing customers’ service complaints.
- Management of department employees—hire, transfer, discharge workers. Develop and implement training for department personnel.
- Determine work standards and evaluate workers’ performance.
- May handle claims regarding defective factory work quality.
- My determine need and cost of automobile repair.
- Ensure that subordinates conform to the company’s policy on non-discrimination and harassment and personally conform to those policies.
- Work in a cooperative and professional manner with all personnel.
- Treat all members of the public in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner and maintain a professional demeanor while on the job.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Report any violation of the harassment/non-discrimination policies to higher management.
- Monitor compliance with company safety notices.
Always maintain a professional appearance of yourself and your work area.
- Driving new, used or customers’ automobiles as required.
- Strive to obtain superior customer satisfaction ratings including customer follow through.
- Possible chemical exposure as regular part of the job. (a) A limited number of chemicals are used on occasion as a normal part of the job. (b) In order to recognize and protect him/herself from chemicals in the workplace the employee will attend training in company’s hazard communication program (worker’s right to know), utilize chemical inventory list, utilize material safety data sheet (MSDS), and utilize required personal protective equipment at all times.

Annual Pay depends on your qualifications and can range from $75,000 – 150,000 annually.
