One of Insight Global's clients is seeking a Service Manager to directly manage our customer facing Service team. Responsibilities include hiring and performance management; managing the overall performance of a team; providing leadership by fostering a safe working environment; successful resolution of customer related issues; training a team on effective sales techniques; performing goodwill of customers at the customer site while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction; achieving sales, profit, inventory and payroll goals; managing a budget and dealing with operational issues that affect service. Hands-on support of direct reports includes accompanying our service representatives or visiting customers alone when necessary, to assist in the pick-up and delivery of products or services; driving a company-owned vehicle to and from customer locations; lifting, carrying and walking products in and out of customer accounts while maintaining world-class service and goodwill to customers; performing managerial duties.
Day to Day
- Strictly in house
- Oversee team of Service Supervisors and Service Sales Representative ( 2 Service supervisors and 15-20 SSR's)
- Go through KPIs with SSR and Service Supervisor
- Performance management meetings each week with each member (30 minutes to an hour)
- Some interactions with customers, Typically over phone
- Accounts Receivable
Must Haves:
- Bachelors degree required
- 5+ of Store Director, District Manager, or Senior General Manager- preferably from a large retail store
- Candidate within 30 mile radius of store location
- Performance Management Experience (preferably weekly performance reviews with team)
